I know it's been FOREVER since I updated the blog! The Christmas Crazies started over a month earlier than I expected, and I have barely had time to think! All the holiday doggies are going home now, so it is time for me to catch up!
So many things to talk about! I am going to be starting to foster dogs in the next week or so. I have two cuties coming up from California soon. I will help to get them socialized, do some basic training with them, and get them used to some everyday-life-experiences, while we find them forever homes. I have wanted to foster for years, but until now, have not been in a position to do so. Time to give something back! I have the dogs posted on a 'Rescue' page of the website... go check them out! If you know of anyone looking for a cute small dog, have them contact myself or Melanie from Paws Across the Border rescue.
CSA shares are officially on sale for 2011 now. Last year, I did 5 shares while I figured out what I was doing, and how much I needed to grow. This year, I am doing 20 shares. It's a big jump, but I am confident that I know what I am doing now. I have a greenhouse all lined up so I can get my seeds started early, and get a good jump on the season. I have done up my seed orders, and will send them off in February, so I can get started in early March. I am pretty stoked about the gardens this year. Should be a fun and exciting year! I am also planning on getting my farmgate stand up and running this year, too. I hope to open it by June 1, so stay tuned!
