I couldn't resist posting this video once I saw it. I am doing the flyball seminar next month, and I really encourage junior handlers to take part in handling the family dog. It is a win/win situation. The dog learns to respect the younger members of the family, and the handler gains huge amounts of self confidence. My message today it this: GET YOUR KIDS INVOLVED!!
This is a 6 year old girl handling the family dog in agility. This young lady is a very accomplished handler already, and it just goes to show what a person of any age can do!

Stayed tuned, everyone! I am currently working with Joanne Fryia of Total Anarchy Flyball club to host a flyball workshop and seminar. We are just hashing out the details, and I will update everyone as soon as I can! For those of you unfamiliar with Flyball, it is a face-paced, adrenaline-rushing team sport you play with your dog. The workshop will be geared towards dogs and handlers that have never done flyball before.  Here is a sample of flyball- the lead dog is my little guy, Reckless, with Chum, Einstien and Rocket following. Dogs LOVE Flyball!!
